March 2026 - Nahant Marsh Education Center
Today we highlight Nahant Marsh Education Center, a 382-acre wetland preserve in southwest Davenport committed to conservation, research, and environmental education. Each year, more than 24,000 people connect with nature through Nahant Marsh's programs and experiences - building awareness, inspiring stewardship, and protecting this vital natural resource for generations to come.

The Oberholtzer Awards honor past, present, and future conservation leaders—amplifying the often-unnoticed work shaping our region’s environmental future. Proceeds support Nahant Marsh’s mission as well as a scholarship for an aspiring conservationist.
February 2026 - Putnam Museum & Science Center
We’re proud to feature the Putnam Museum and Science Center, a cultural and educational cornerstone that has served our region for more than 150 years. Each year, the Putnam provides immersive, hands‑on learning experiences to over 140,000 visitors—including more than 30,000 school and youth group participants—preserving our region’s treasures and inspiring curiosity across all ages.

February 2026 - Hand in Hand
We are thrilled to feature Hand in Hand this month! They are the only organization in the Quad Cities that offers accessible programs for people of all abilities from ages 6 weeks old through adulthood. Hand in Hand focuses on empowering children and adults of all abilities to learn and grow by providing accessible programs and supporting families. Everyone is welcome at Hand in Hand! Some of their program offerings include childcare and preschool, school -age programs, Teens with Purpose, evening and weekend recreation and respite programs, People with Purpose, Camp Hand in Hand, and more.”

The 17th Annual Hand in Hand Cook-Off is coming up on February 7th at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds from 3-6 PM. We want to thank all our sponsors for making this event possible! We greatly appreciate your continued support.
All proceeds from this event go to support our childcare, school-age care, evening and weekend programs, summer camp, Teens with Purpose, and People with Purpose. Our programs serve people with disabilities and without disabilities in programs together, from 6 weeks of age through adulthood, since 2000.
Event Details: Saturday, February 7th from 3-6 PM at the Fair Center at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds.
