How Do I Nominate Someone for National Philanthropy Day?

Nominating someone is easy! Simply complete the online form before 7/1/2019.

A judging committee will be made up of award winners from the previous years plus at least two members of the National Philanthropy Day Committee or AFP Board Members. This committee will convene in August to review the applications and select award winners.

Applications will only be accepted via the online form.

The form will ask for the following information:

  • Your contact information

  • Your nominees contact information

  • Suggested Award Category

  • Questions about your nominee:

    • Summarize the nominee’s civic responsibilities and/or accomplishments including an outline of their involvement with nonprofit organizations

    • Describe the impact and achievements that have been accomplished through the nominee’s efforts including a description of fundraising goals achieved by his/her effort.

    • Describe how the nominee has encouraged and motivated others to take leadership roles toward philanthropy and community involvement.

    • List the nominees current and past affiliations with non-profit organizations and civic/service clubs including any known dates of services, board involvement and roles, etc.

  • Send any additional letters of support to Angie Kendall - Include the nominees name and information in the email. This is not required for any application.
